Noah Lee wins Governor's Cup as Wyatt climbs NFR standings

Rookie bull rider Noah Lee concluded a historic season by winning The Governor's Cup in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Lee secured the championship round with a 91-point ride on the bull Cowboy Kool, earning $34,000. This victory capped a season in which Lee reached the No. 1 world ranking and broke the regular-season earnings record, unofficially totaling $371,041 in winnings.

In team roping competition, Nelson Wyatt moved into the No. 15 spot in the heading world standings following Round 1 of the Last Hoorah. Wyatt and partner Jonathan Torres earned sixth place in the round with a time of 5.3 seconds, earning $1,507 each. The results shifted the standings for several competitors chasing National Finals Rodeo (NFR) positions, including Clint Summers and Jade Corkill, who split second and third place in the round.
