Noah Schnapp to make London stage debut in ‘Affluenza’

Noah Schnapp, known for his role as Will Byers in the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’, is set to make his professional stage debut in London. He will headline the play ‘Affluenza’ at Riverside Studios, with performances scheduled from September 26 through November 21.

Written and directed by Tony Award-winning producer and artistic director Andy Sandberg, ‘Affluenza’ is described as a biting and darkly funny production set in the Hamptons. The play explores themes of wealth, privilege, and moral accountability, inspired by real-life legal defense cases involving teenage drivers. Schnapp noted that he will be playing two distinct roles in the production.

Sandberg praised Schnapp’s decision to choose an original play for his first major theater role, stating that the actor has captivated audiences on screen and will now have the opportunity to perform for London audiences.
