Noah Schnapp to star in crime thriller Stealing from Pablo

Myriad Pictures has begun international sales for “Stealing from Pablo”, a crime thriller inspired by true events set in the 1980s. Directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Carlos V. Gutierrez and produced by the Brazilian company FJ Produções, the film stars Seu Jorge, Noah Schnapp, and David Mazouz.

The plot follows Red, a teenager in the foster care system, and his friend Dylan, who break into an abandoned mansion in Florida for a clandestine skateboarding session. They soon discover the property belongs to Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar, thrusting them into the middle of a dangerous criminal empire involving Escobar’s accountant and his assassins.

The project marks a reunion for Noah Schnapp and Seu Jorge, who previously worked together on the 2019 film “Abe”. For Schnapp, the role represents a transition into more mature, non-supernatural territory following the conclusion of “Stranger Things”.
