Noatum Ports welcomes largest containership to date in Safaga
The Noatum Ports terminal in Safaga, Egypt, has received the M/V KOTA EBONY, marking the largest containership to ever dock at the port. Operated by Pacific International Lines (PIL), the vessel has a capacity of 14,000 TEU and a length of 334 meters.
The arrival is being cited as a significant milestone for the terminal, intended to demonstrate operational capacity for handling larger vessels and to enhance Egypt's maritime connectivity and global shipping capabilities.
