Nobel building in Chalandri to undergo 5.6 million euro reconstruction
The reconstruction of the iconic Nobel building in Chalandri has been officially included in the Attica Regional Development Program for 2026–2030. Attica Governor Nikos Hardalias signed the agreement in the presence of Chalandri Mayor Simos Roussos.
The project has a total budget of 5,645,000 euros plus VAT and is funded by the National Development Program. The renovation will transform the existing multi-use cultural building into a modern arts and education hub, featuring event spaces, a library, and areas for creative activities.
The technical scope includes comprehensive construction and electromechanical works, as well as landscaping. The facility will be fully accessible and energy-efficient, including 10 underground parking spaces and 28 outdoor spaces, with provisions for people with disabilities.
