The Italian fragrance brand Nobile 1942 has released ‘Stanza delle Bambole’, a perfume designed to evoke nostalgia through powdery, sweet, and mysterious notes of talcum, vanilla, and flowers.

Powdery scents are historically linked to the late 19th and early 20th centuries, following the introduction of ionones, which allowed perfumers to recreate the floral and dusty scents of violet.
