Nobu announces first hotel and restaurant in San Juan

Nobu Hospitality has announced the debut of Nobu Hotel and Restaurant San Juan, marking the brand’s first expansion into Puerto Rico. The luxury project is scheduled to open in 2028.

The 50-room hotel will feature a signature Nobu restaurant and bar at street level, alongside a rooftop lounge and bar. The design is intended to blend Nobu’s contemporary aesthetic with the historical character and cultural heritage of San Juan.

Trevor Horwell, CEO of Nobu Hospitality, stated that the move allows the brand to enter one of the Caribbean’s most storied neighborhoods, catering to international travelers drawn to the region's history and vibrant culture.
