Nobu appointed Avengers ambassador for Marvel film promotion
Nobu, a member of the comedy duo Chidori, has been appointed as an Avengers ambassador during a promotional event for the upcoming Marvel film “Avengers: Doomsday”. The event, held in Kyobashi, Tokyo, celebrated the film’s scheduled simultaneous release in Japan and the United States on December 18, 2026.
During the ceremony, Nobu appeared in a special costume portraying Doctor Doom, a character played by Robert Downey Jr. in the new film. He expressed his deep affinity for the franchise, noting that approximately 70 percent of his comedic analogies are derived from the Avengers series.
