Nobu Hospitality expands with new Madrid hotel and San Juan announcement

Nobu Hospitality has announced significant expansions of its luxury brand, including the official opening of Nobu Hotel Madrid and a planned debut in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Nobu Hotel Madrid has opened in Spain’s capital, marking the brand’s fifth property in the country. The hotel features 50 guestrooms and suites, a wellness area, and a tri-level restaurant, bar, and lounge. Designed by the architecture studio GRONDA, the interiors utilize Japanese-inspired design elements. The property includes a signature top-floor Nobu Suite with a private terrace and a rooftop area overlooking the city skyline.

In the Caribbean, Nobu Hospitality announced plans for the Nobu Hotel and Restaurant San Juan, scheduled to open in 2028. This first venture into Puerto Rico will consist of a 50-room luxury hotel, an iconic street-level restaurant and bar, and a rooftop lounge. The project aims to integrate the brand’s contemporary aesthetic with the historical and cultural character of San Juan.
