Noda Municipal Chuo Elementary School receives cycling training for national competition

JPF, in collaboration with the Japan Cycle Sports Promotion Association (JCSPA), provided specialized training to Noda Municipal Chuo Elementary School, the Chiba Prefecture representative for the 58th National Traffic Safety Children's Bicycle Competition.

Hito Nakamura, a former member of the Japanese national cycling team and current JPF employee, conducted two special training sessions to prepare students for technical riding tests. The training focused on essential skills such as balance, maneuvering through S-curves, slalom, and figure-eight patterns to improve safety and control.

The students participated in the national competition held at Tokyo Big Sight on August 10, 2026, competing against representatives from various prefectures in both academic tests regarding traffic rules and practical skill tests.
