NODWIN Gaming launches BGMI Masters Series Season 5 in India

NODWIN Gaming announced that the BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) will return for its fifth season in India, running from 10 August to 6 September 2026. The tournament will feature 24 teams competing across a month‑long schedule that includes league weeks, a bounty weekend, two super weekends, playoffs and a three‑day grand final. The new format rewards consistency, with every match contributing to a team’s progress.

Co‑Founder and Managing Director Akshat Rathee said, “Players are building longer careers, teams are becoming stronger institutions and fans are engaging with competitive gaming at a much deeper level.” The announcement comes as India’s mobile gaming market surpassed $1 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach about $1.5 billion in 2026, with shooter games accounting for 43 % of in‑app purchase revenue.
