NOFX releases soundtrack and score for career documentary

Punk rock band NOFX has released ‘40 Years of Fuckin’ Up: Soundtrack + Score’, a digital and double LP companion to the documentary film of the same name. The collection is divided into two parts: an 11-song original score composed by Fat Mike and performed with an orchestra, and a 15-song soundtrack.

The release includes new tracks such as ‘40 Years of Fuckin’ Up’ and ‘We Did It Our Way’, alongside six rare and unreleased recordings, including demos for ‘Secret Society’ and ‘On The Road’, and a cover of ‘La Bamba’. It also features live versions of classics like ‘Linoleum’. To accompany the release, a live video for ‘We Did It Our Way’—recorded during the band’s final shows in San Pedro, California, in October 2024—is being released on YouTube.

The documentary, directed by James Buddy Day, chronicles the band's four-decade career and premiered at the SXSW Festival. It has since been screened at the San Francisco International Film Festival and the Cannes Film Market, with a theatrical run spanning 232 cities globally.
