Nogizaka46 concludes 2026 summer tour at Meiji Jingu Stadium

Nogizaka46 concluded their ‘Manatsu no Zenkoku Tour 2026’ with a final performance at Meiji Jingu Stadium in Tokyo on August 23. The tour, which spanned 18 shows across eight cities, drew a total of approximately 280,000 attendees.

This tour marked a significant transition for the group following the graduation of former captain Minami Umezawa in May. Satsuki Sugawara took over as the fourth captain, leading the new 33-member formation. During the final show, Sugawara expressed the emotional weight of her new role, stating, “The baton I received was heavier than I imagined, and I felt like I was being crushed by anxiety.”

The final performance featured 31 songs, including new tracks and a series of summer songs that were a central theme of the tour. The event also saw the surprise return of 6th-generation member Mirion Masuda.

Separately, the group issued an apology regarding the August 22 Tokyo performance. Due to lightning risks, some attendees were directed to temporary shelters. The group admitted that the performance began before all displaced fans had successfully re-entered the venue because of a failure in information sharing among staff.
