Noh Jae-won discusses leading role in ‘Tazza: Song of Beelzebub’

Actor Noh Jae-won has discussed his experience starring in ‘Tazza: Song of Beelzebub’, the final installment of the film series based on Heo Young-man’s original manhwa. The film follows the rivalry between Jang Tae-young (played by Byun Yo-han) and Park Tae-young (played by Noh Jae-won) as they face off in a global gambling arena.

In recent interviews, Noh expressed gratitude for his first leading role in a commercial film, noting that he focused on the specific characters rather than the weight of the ‘Tazza’ brand. He described his character, Park Tae-young, as a strategic player driven by a desire to prove himself despite feelings of inferiority toward his friend.

Noh also spoke highly of his co-star Byun Yo-han, whom he has known since working on the series ‘Uncle Samsik’. He noted that Byun provided significant support and encouragement during their time on set, helping him navigate the pressures of a major production.
