Noida police arrest two thieves, recover cash, bike and stolen goods

On July 4, 2026, police from Noida's Sector‑20 police station arrested two suspects, identified as Firoz (aka Babblo) and Ashish, after using local intelligence and electronic surveillance near the Brahmaputra Apartment in Sector‑29. The men, who have long been linked to house‑breaking incidents in Noida and surrounding areas, were caught with stolen steel bins, cash totaling ₹20,570, a stolen motorcycle, a range of burglary tools and two illegal knives.

Both suspects admitted to involvement in mobile‑phone and laptop thefts in Sector‑39, saying they had sold the stolen devices. Firoz, originally from Bulandshahr and working as an Ola‑Uber driver, has education up to class 3, while Ashish, a graduate from Bareilly now driving a taxi in Chhlera village, has multiple prior cases for theft, illegal weapons possession and related offences. Police said further questioning may uncover additional pending robbery cases.

The seizure also included various burglary tools such as a pipe cutter, iron wrench, and other implements used in the break‑ins. The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to examine the suspects' criminal histories.
