Noida Police bust gang stealing mobiles and laptops from PGs

Noida Police from the Sector-63 station have dismantled a gang specializing in stealing mobile phones and laptops from paying guests (PGs) and residential homes. During a targeted operation near Chhijarsi Baratghar, authorities arrested one 20-year-old suspect, identified as Rohit, also known as Chhanga, and took four minors into custody.

Officers recovered several stolen items, including an Apple MacBook Pro, 10 mobile phones from various manufacturers, a stolen Hero Splendor Plus motorcycle, and an illegal knife. Investigations revealed that the gang members would conduct reconnaissance on rental properties and PGs with high concentrations of tenants before stealing valuables. They reportedly sold the stolen goods to passersby at low prices, often claiming they were selling out of necessity.
