Noida Police Bust Two Criminal Gangs in Separate July 4 Raids

On July 4, 2026, Noida police conducted two separate raids against criminal groups. In Sector‑63, officers arrested three men—Rohit Kumar, Gaurav Kumar and Ravendra—who operated an organized mobile‑snatching and theft gang. The crackdown recovered 28 stolen mobile phones, two illegal knives and a scooter stolen from Delhi, and the suspects were charged under multiple theft‑related statutes.

In a parallel operation in Sector‑24, police dismantled a fraud gang that used a fake online “friendship club” to lure victims. Five adults—Omveer Yadav, Manjeet Yadav, Nidhi Yadav, Priyanka Yadav and Kajal (alias Riya) Yadav—were arrested, and a minor was placed under protection. The raid seized a stolen Fortune‑class car, two other vehicles (a Swift and an Aura) used in the crimes, and an illegal knife. Investigators said the gang assaulted victims, stole cash, mobile phones and vehicle keys, and forced UPI transfers of about ₹18,000.

Both operations highlight a coordinated police effort to curb theft, fraud and violent assaults in the city.
