Noida police dismantle interstate vehicle theft and mobile snatching gang
Noida police have dismantled an interstate gang involved in two-wheeler theft and mobile phone snatching across the Delhi-NCR region. Following operations by the Sector-24 police station on September 18, four suspects—Vicky Yadav, Karan Nagar, Ravindra, and Vishwa Mahto—were arrested, while two minors were taken into police custody.
Authorities recovered 22 stolen two-wheelers, 31 snatched mobile phones, 2,500 rupees in cash, and three illegal knives. Investigations revealed that the gang conducted reconnaissance in secluded areas to steal motorcycles and scooters, which they then used to commit mobile snatching crimes to evade detection. The stolen phones were either sold cheaply to pedestrians or transported to Bihar via Vishwa Mahto to be sold for higher profits.
