Noida Police recover 225 smartphones worth 50 lakh rupees

The Gautam Buddha Nagar Police Commissionerate has successfully recovered 225 smartphones belonging to various individuals in Noida. The total estimated value of the recovered devices is approximately 50 lakh rupees.

Following instructions from Police Commissioner Lakshmi Singh, the Noida Surveillance Cell and Sector-39 Police Station conducted a joint operation. Using technical analysis through surveillance systems and the Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) portal, authorities tracked and located the devices that had been lost or misplaced in crowded markets, public transport, and other public areas.

After verifying ownership through necessary documentation, the police returned the smartphones to their rightful owners.
