Noida: Teenager kills father before suicide at metro station

A 16-year-old teenager allegedly murdered his father before committing suicide by jumping in front of a metro train at the Sector-52 station in Noida.

The incident came to light after the teenager's uncle reported his nephew, Amrit Sharma, missing following the suicide attempt and reported that his brother, Raju Sharma, was also unaccounted for. Upon investigating a residence near Jagannath Temple in the Phase-3 area, police discovered Raju Sharma's body in a room. The body showed signs of injuries inflicted by a sharp weapon.

Forensic teams have collected evidence from the scene, including blood-stained clothing belonging to Amrit Sharma and two mobile phones. Police are currently analyzing the forensic reports and questioning family members and neighbors to reconstruct the events.
