Noise and traffic complaints reported in Brazilian residential areas
Residents in Belo Horizonte have denounced the environmental and logistical impacts caused by the Casa Vereda event space. Following an event on October 17, a local residents' association reported excessive mechanical noise and disorganized traffic, with vehicles occupying streets well into the following morning. The association has requested technical documents, including environmental licenses and neighborhood impact studies, from the Belo Horizonte Municipal Chamber to address concerns regarding urban mobility and quality of life in the Belvedere region.
In a separate legal matter in Guaramirim, a civil court has ordered four residents to cease repeated noise disturbances affecting an elderly couple. The court ruled that the defendants must stop causing disturbances through parties, shouting, and high-volume automotive sound systems, and must pay moral damages. The case involved long-term disruptions occurring at all hours, which the victims reported led to increased medical needs and required the installation of security cameras and the pursuit of protective measures.
