Noisia announces reunion and first live show in four years

Dutch drum and bass trio Noisia has announced a reunion following a seven-year hiatus. The group, consisting of Nik Roos, Martijn van Sonderen, and Thijs de Vlieger, will perform their first comeback show on December 4 at Amsterdam’s Melkweg.

The trio stated that while their 2019 decision to disband was driven by creative differences, working on solo projects in a shared studio space led to a renewed connection. They noted that “memories of joy, beauty and mutual respect started to outweigh the shadows of the past,” prompting them to begin creating new music together again.

In addition to live performances, the group is working on new material. The upcoming Melkweg show will feature both their existing catalogue and new tracks, which the members intend to refine based on audience feedback before official releases. Further tour dates are expected to be announced soon.
