Noisy-le-Grand and Rueil-Malmaison face financial management concerns

Independent audits conducted by Bilan de Mandat have highlighted deteriorating financial conditions and public management in the French municipalities of Noisy-le-Grand and Rueil-Malmaison.

In Noisy-le-Grand, an analysis of the 2020–2026 mandate indicates a decline in financial stability and management quality under the leadership of Brigitte Marsigny. Additionally, local Muslim groups have expressed concerns regarding inadequate prayer conditions and are seeking donations to construct a mosque.

In Rueil-Malmaison, an audit suggests that while the city held a strong financial position in 2020, it has since faced increasing debt. The report attributes two-thirds of these issues to political decisions made by the municipality led by Patrick Ollier, noting that rising borrowing costs are reducing resources available for other services.
