Noisy-le-Sec municipal elections face potential annulment

The municipal elections in Noisy-le-Sec may face annulment following a recommendation by the public rapporteur of the Montreuil Administrative Court. The proposal comes after irregularities were identified within the candidate declaration of the “Noisy au Cœur, la Liste Citoyenne” list, which secured 33.38% of the vote in the March 2026 election.

The investigation revealed that five candidates on the list failed to comply with Article L. 265 of the electoral code, which requires each candidate to provide a handwritten signature and a specific handwritten statement of consent. Due to these irregularities, the public rapporteur concluded that the votes cast for this list should be considered null. A final judicial decision regarding the potential annulment of the election is expected on September 30.
