Nojima appoints first two student staff members as store managers

Nojima Co., Ltd. has appointed its first two student staff members to store manager positions. This move aligns with the company’s ‘contribution-based hierarchy’ philosophy, which promotes employees based on their ability to satisfy customers and contribute to the company, regardless of age, gender, nationality, or employment status.

The new student managers hold the same responsibilities and authorities as regular managers, including staff training, shift management, budget control, and hiring rights. In accordance with the principle of equal pay for equal work, their compensation and benefits are identical to those of other managers.

Nojima also maintains a subsidy system for students to support those whose work might otherwise be limited by tax dependency thresholds, aiming to encourage ambitious employees to work with a management mindset.
