Nojima offers discounted air conditioners for Tokyo residents

Electronics retailer Nojima is participating in the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s ‘Household Zero Emission Action Promotion Project’ to offer significant discounts on energy-efficient air conditioners.

Through the ‘Tokyo Zero Emi Campaign,’ residents of Tokyo aged 65 and older, or those with a disability certificate, can receive substantial price reductions. By utilizing Tokyo Zero Emi Points, certain high-efficiency air conditioner models can be purchased for an effective price in the 10,000 yen range. The campaign includes an 80,000 yen discount for eligible seniors at specific Tokyo locations through August 28.

Residents under the age of 65 are also eligible to use Tokyo Zero Emi Points to receive discounts of up to 80,000 yen on energy-saving appliances. To qualify for the senior-specific points, products must have an energy efficiency rating of 3.0 or higher. Nojima is providing support for the application process via its mobile app, which takes approximately five minutes.
