Nokia 300 Charge feature phone unveiled with 40-day battery life

HMD Global has unveiled the Nokia 300 Charge, a feature phone designed with a focus on extreme battery longevity and utility. The device is equipped with a 3,700 mAh battery, which HMD claims can provide over 40 days of standby time and up to 37 hours of continuous talk time.

A standout feature is its ability to function as a portable power bank. Through a dedicated “Out” button on the side, the phone can utilize its USB-C port to provide 10W reverse charging to compatible devices such as headphones or other smartphones.

Technical specifications include a 2.4-inch LCD screen with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution, a Unisoc SC6531E processor, and the S30+ operating system. It features 4 MB of RAM and 4 MB of internal storage, expandable up to 32 GB via microSD. The device also includes a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a high-brightness LED flashlight.

While the phone offers high utility for emergency or backup use, it is limited to dual-band 2G connectivity (900 MHz and 1,800 MHz). This may restrict its functionality in regions where 2G networks have been decommissioned.
