Nokia and Corvinus University sign three-year strategic partnership

Budapest Corvinus University and Nokia have signed a three-year strategic partnership agreement in Budapest to foster innovation and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and corporate practice.

The collaboration focuses on student projects, corporate experience, and mutual knowledge sharing. Under the agreement, students will have opportunities to participate in hackathons, mentorship programs, and guest lectures led by Nokia professionals. They will also work on solving real-world business challenges and receive consultation for theses and scientific student research.

The partnership is designed to be bidirectional: Corvinus faculty and researchers can engage in Nokia projects, while Nokia experts will contribute practical industry knowledge to university curricula. Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector of Corvinus, noted that the program allows students to engage with digital technologies and data-driven business decision-making environments during their studies. The agreement was signed by Rector van Pottelsberghe and Nokia representatives Béla Zagyva and Erzsébet Tóth.
