Nokia to sell Enterprise Campus Edge business to AURELIUS

Nokia has signed a definitive agreement to sell its Enterprise Campus Edge (ECE) business to the investment firm AURELIUS. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to customary closing conditions.

The ECE unit is a provider of private wireless networking solutions, serving approximately 900 customers across sectors such as manufacturing, mining, logistics, airports, and power generation. Its portfolio includes industrial devices, on-premises operational technology (OT) edge solutions, and software applications for industrial AI-powered use cases.

Nokia stated that the sale supports its strategy to focus capital and resources on areas where it can create the greatest long-term value. The divestiture follows Nokia's identification of the unit as surplus to its requirements as the company shifts its strategic focus toward the ‘AI supercycle’.
