Nolan Siegel targets IndyCar seat for 2027 season

Nolan Siegel, the 21-year-old Californian racing driver, is actively pursuing a seat in IndyCar for the 2027 season. Following a two-and-a-half-year tenure with Arrow McLaren, Siegel is navigating a tightening driver market where full-time options for the upcoming season appear limited to AJ Foyt Racing, Dale Coyne Racing, and Juncos Hollinger Racing.

Despite a successful career in sports car racing, which includes a 2024 LMP2 class victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and various IMSA wins, Siegel maintains that IndyCar remains his primary professional goal. He expressed a desire to balance an IndyCar seat with as many IMSA races as possible, though he emphasized that his focus is on single-seater racing.

Siegel also addressed recent speculation regarding a potential connection to a second car for JDC-Miller MotorSports during the Petit Le Mans, clarifying that while he is interested in joining major IMSA teams, his priority is securing his future in IndyCar.
