Nolan Traore returns to Nets camp with increased size and strength

Brooklyn Nets guard Nolan Traore has returned to training camp with a noticeably larger physique. The 20-year-old player has reportedly grown approximately one inch and added roughly 10 pounds of muscle since his rookie season, moving from 180 pounds to 190 pounds.

Traore spent the offseason focusing on physical strength and shot mechanics while recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his ankle and knee. Nets coach Jordi Fernández noted the player's increased maturity and presence, stating, “He’s put the work in. You watch him move around and play.”

The added size is intended to help the young guard absorb contact, finish better at the rim, and defend against larger opponents. Traore indicated that his offseason was primarily focused on the physical aspect and improving his shooting through gym work and film study.
