Nollywood actresses Peggy Ovire and Ronke Oshodi-Oke have shared personal accounts regarding their recent health struggles.

Peggy Ovire reported on social media that she has been battling a fever and a severe cold. She noted that these health issues occurred during what she described as the most exhausting production of her career. Ovire expressed appreciation for the support of a colleague who provided gifts and checked on her well-being during the demanding period.

Ronke Oshodi-Oke revealed that she previously faced a serious health condition that required significant financial resources, noting that her monthly medication costs reached ₦800,000. She credited her recovery to divine intervention and the support of colleagues and APC chieftain Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo. She specifically mentioned receiving financial assistance from colleague Sotayo despite a long-standing personal disagreement.
