Nollywood films and series expand on streaming platforms

Several Nollywood productions are currently available on streaming services such as Netflix and Kava. Notable titles include Toyin Abraham’s directorial debut, ‘Oversabi Aunty’, a comedy-drama centered on a meddling church usher that explores the resulting chaos within her family life.

Other featured content includes the epic fantasy film ‘Colours of Fire’, directed by Niyi Akinmolayan. The film depicts a generational conflict between the Blue and Red Tribes, following a warrior whose encounter with a tribal queen's daughter sparks a forbidden romance. Additionally, the series ‘A Different World’ serves as a sequel to the original sitcom, focusing on a new generation of students at Hillman College.
