Nomad Explorer Card Drops Minimum Spend Requirement for Free Airport Lounge Access

The Nomad Explorer credit card, which already offers no annual fee and a points‑earning program, has removed the previous R$ 4,500 minimum spend condition for complimentary airport lounge entry. Cardholders can now enjoy up to four free accesses per year through the Visa Airport Companion program, which operates via the Dragonpass platform, without needing to meet any spending threshold.

The change comes amid a broader trend in Brazil of no‑fee credit cards adding premium perks such as cashback, travel benefits and lounge access. Nomad Explorer is highlighted alongside other fintech‑issued cards in recent rankings of top no‑annual‑fee cards for 2026.
