Non-Alcoholic Wine Market Expands with New Premium SIN CULPA Line
Bodega Sin Reglas of Argentina announced the launch of SIN CULPA, a premium range of fully de‑alcoholized wines that includes three varieties, such as a Carmenere made from Chilean grapes. The brand promotes health‑focused benefits, targeting consumers who want the sensory experience of wine without alcohol, including pregnant women, athletes and professionals who must stay clear‑headed.
A IWSR report on eight key markets – the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Japan and Australia – shows steady growth in the no‑ and low‑alcohol wine segment. Between 2019 and 2024, annual volume growth reached 23 % in the United States, 27 % in Canada, 26 % in Japan and 18 % in Australia, while France, Germany and Spain grew 4‑9 % annually. Millennials and Generation Z now account for about 60 % of buyers, with even higher shares in the United States (73 %) and the United Kingdom (67 %). The trend reflects a broader shift toward moderation, wellness and flexible drinking occasions.
