Nongshim launches exclusive Potato Chip flavors with four major convenience stores

Nongshim has partnered with four major South Korean convenience store chains—CU, GS25, 7-Eleven, and Emart24—to launch a new "Dining Series" of Potato Chips. The strategy involves releasing four distinct flavors, each exclusive to a specific retailer to cater to different consumer preferences.

The product lineup includes: - CU: Gourmet Potato Salty Butter flavor - GS25: Spicy Carbonara flavor - 7-Eleven: Butter Garlic Shrimp flavor - Emart24: Cream Cheese Sausage flavor

This targeted distribution aims to strengthen Nongshim's presence in the convenience store sector, which has become a dominant retail channel for snacks. According to NielsenIQ Korea, convenience stores accounted for 36.4% of cumulative domestic snack retail sales in the first half of the year, the highest among major retail channels. To support the launch, Nongshim is conducting social media marketing campaigns, including the "Convenience Store Stamp Tour" and a "My One-Pick Potato Chip" event.
