Nontachai Jitmuangnon to face Kiamran Nabati at The Inner Circle 31

Nontachai Jitmuangnon is set to face Kiamran Nabati in a bantamweight Muay Thai main event at The Inner Circle 31. The event will take place this Friday, September 18, at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

The matchup follows two postponements, the most recent occurring in August when a sudden illness forced Nontachai out of ONE Fight Night 46. Nontachai stated that the delay served as a “blessing in disguise,” allowing him extra time to reach peak physical condition and refine his striking.

Nontachai, who is currently on a three-fight winning streak following his Road to ONE: Thailand tournament victory, has prepared specifically to counter Nabati’s tendency to catch legs to set up heavy punches. To mitigate this risk, Nontachai plans to utilize feints and aim kicks toward the head to prevent counter-striking.
