Nonye Soludo visits Anambra Rehabilitation Home

Nonye Soludo, the First Lady of Anambra State, visited the Anambra Rehabilitation Home in Nteje, Oyi Local Government Area, to support residents undergoing rehabilitation and vocational training.

During the visit, Soludo observed a graduation ceremony for residents who completed various skills acquisition programmes. Some residents, despite being medically certified as fit to return to their communities, chose to remain at the centre to further their vocational studies. Soludo donated relief materials, essential items, and cash gifts to the inmates to assist in their recovery and reintegration.

Soludo emphasized that rehabilitation should provide individuals with the opportunity to rediscover their abilities and regain confidence to find a productive place in society. Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Ukamaka Okpala expressed that the training provided new hope and the practical skills necessary to become self-reliant.
