Noord-Brabant to launch 2026 consumer behavior study

The Koopstromenonderzoek Noord-Brabant 2026, a large-scale study on consumer behavior, is scheduled to begin in mid-September. Conducted by research agencies Ipsos I&O and Movares, the study involves all municipalities in the Noord-Brabant region of the Netherlands, as well as residents from adjacent areas in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The research aims to provide municipalities and entrepreneurs with insights into how residents and visitors utilize shopping areas, catering facilities, and other centers. By analyzing how shopping patterns have evolved since the previous study in 2021, the data will help stakeholders make informed decisions to keep city centers and village hubs attractive and future-proof.

Selected households will receive invitations via mail during September and October to complete a 15-minute online questionnaire. Residents who do not receive a direct invitation are also encouraged to participate. All data is processed confidentially in accordance with GDPR regulations to ensure participant anonymity.
