UFC Paris delivers dramatic TKO and submission results

The UFC Paris event at the Accor Arena featured several dramatic results across the preliminary card.

In the light heavyweight division, Modestas Bukauskas secured a significant comeback victory against Oumar Sy. After struggling through a dominant first round where Sy utilized heavy ground-and-pound, Bukauskas rallied in the second round. He finished the fight via TKO at 3:57 of the second round following a powerful knee and subsequent strikes.

In the women’s bantamweight division, Nora Cornolle defeated Klaudia Sygula via unanimous decision. Cornolle utilized effective clinch work and strength to control the bout, earning a 30-27 scorecard sweep from all three judges.

In a highly intense opening bout, Delphine Benouaich made a successful UFC debut by defeating Sofia Montenegro. The match was noted for its physical intensity, with Montenegro suffering significant facial lacerations. Benouaich eventually secured a victory via rear-naked choke in the second round, rendering Montenegro unconscious before the referee intervened.
