Actress and dancer Nora Fatehi performed the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony song “SIIR SIIR” in Toronto, sharing the stage with French singer Vegedream and producer DJ Sanjoy. She posted a behind‑the‑scenes video showing the collaboration in the studio and urged fans to stream the track.

Fatehi later posted an emotional Instagram note, saying the performance was special because her entire family and close friends attended the live event for the first time. She described the moment of seeing her mother, siblings, childhood friends and even her high‑school teacher waiting for her after the show as “truly emotional” and a milestone in her decade‑long career. She also thanked India, Morocco and Canada for shaping her artistic journey.

The opening ceremony kicked off the 2026 FIFA World Cup, co‑hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico, and featured other performances by Shakira, Burna Boy, Jessie Reyez, Alessia Cara and Palestinian singer Elyanna.
