Nora Mørk suffers ankle fracture during Team Esbjerg match

Norwegian handball star Nora Mørk has sustained a small, stable fracture in her left ankle. The injury occurred during a Danish league match for Team Esbjerg against Horsens on October 7, when Mørk collided with a referee while attempting a substitution.

As a result of the injury, Mørk will be unavailable for a period of time. This includes the upcoming Champions League match against CSM București scheduled for October 11.

Regarding her international career, Norway's national team coach, Ole Gustav Gjekstad, stated that her participation in the European Championship remains a possibility, although she is expected to miss the upcoming Golden League matches against the Netherlands and Denmark.
