Norah Jones and Chris Stapleton release holiday single ‘April’s Gone’

Norah Jones and Chris Stapleton have released a new holiday collaboration titled ‘April’s Gone’. Co-written by Jones and producer Leon Michels, the song explores the theme of a fading love in need of a Christmas spark.

The collaboration was facilitated by Mickey Raphael, who connected the two artists after Jones expressed a desire to work with Stapleton. Jones noted that she had envisioned his voice for the track during the writing process.

In addition to the new single, Jones announced the release of ‘Playing Along, Volume 2’ on November 27. This exclusive red vinyl LP for Record Store Day will feature tracks from her podcast, ‘Norah Jones Is Playing Along’, including collaborations with various artists.
