Noraniza Idris regrets unfinished collaboration with Pak Ngah

Singer Noraniza Idris expressed her regret regarding an unfinished musical collaboration with the late composer Pak Ngah. The 58-year-old singer revealed that a song specifically created for her had undergone initial raw recordings, but due to work constraints and scheduling difficulties, further discussions to complete the production could not take place.

Because the project remained stalled, the song was eventually given to another artist. Speaking at the Forum Apresiasi Seni Adikarya Pak Ngah at Aswara, Noraniza noted that while she is disappointed to have missed the opportunity to finalize the work, she has accepted the outcome. She reflected on Pak Ngah’s character as a sensitive artist who valued professional relationships and expressed her respect for his contributions to traditional ethnic music.
