Norco releases Team DH mountain bike for production
Canadian manufacturer Norco has officially announced the production release of its Team DH downhill mountain bike following five years of development and testing in the World Cup circuit. The bike features an HVP6 (High Virtual Pivot Six-Link) architecture, utilizing a six-point pivot system and an idler pulley to allow engineers greater control over wheel trajectory, ratio curves, and braking behavior.
The production model utilizes a mixed material construction with an aluminum front triangle and a carbon rear triangle. It is designed with a 200 mm travel capacity and a mullet wheel configuration, consisting of a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel. To accommodate different rider needs, the bike offers adjustable settings, including two anti-squat configurations and a progression adjustment (P+ increases progression by 2.5%).
Developed with input from professional riders including Greg Minnaar, Danny Hart, and Gracey Hemstreet, the bike will be available in five frame sizes (S1 to S5) with varying chainstay lengths. It will be offered in two complete versions—one equipped with Fox suspension and another with RockShox—as well as a frame kit. Prices for the complete builds are set at approximately 7,999 USD for the Fox version and 7,399 USD for the RockShox version.
