NORD DRIVESYSTEMS produces more than one million electric motors annually for users across more than 100 industries. The company manufactures both asynchronous motors (0.12 to 55 kW) and synchronous motors (0.5 kW to 11 kW) at three primary plants.

The product range includes specialized solutions such as energy-intensive motors for intralogistics, hygienic motors for the food industry, and explosion-proof models compliant with ATEX, IECEx, and HazLoc standards. A key focus is the efficiency portfolio, which includes IE3 to IE5 classes. Notably, the IE5+ permanent magnet synchronous motor exceeds the highest defined efficiency class requirements. These motors are designed for easy retrofitting, as they maintain identical dimensions to previous models to allow for mechanical compatibility.

To ensure global availability and short delivery times, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS operates manufacturing sites in Italy, Poland, and China, with additional assembly plants located in North and South America, India, and Australia.
