Nord Gas Solutions secures maritime technology contracts

Nord Gas Solutions has secured two major contracts involving specialized maritime technology. The company will supply Cargo Handling Systems (CHS) and LPG Fuel Supply Systems (LFSS) for two 40,000 m³ Medium Gas Carrier vessels being constructed by HD Hyundai for Byzantine Maritime. Equipment delivery to the shipyard is scheduled for April 2027.

Additionally, Nord Gas Solutions will provide volatile organic compound (VOC) recovery systems for two purpose-built offshore support vessels (OSVs) supporting Texas GulfLink’s operations in the Gulf of Mexico. These systems are designed to capture emissions during the loading of very large crude carriers (VLCCs). Each system is estimated to capture approximately 310,000 metric tonnes of CO2-equivalent emissions annually, aiding the project's goal of establishing lower-emission standards for large-scale energy exports.
