Nord Gas Solutions to supply regasification system for Excelerate Energy project

Nord Gas Solutions has secured a contract to provide a regasification system module for Excelerate Energy’s inaugural floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) conversion project.

The module will be installed on the Methane Patricia Camila, a 170,000 cbm LNG carrier currently undergoing conversion into an FSRU. The contract, awarded in July 2026, expects delivery of the regasification module during the first half of 2028. Once operational, the vessel is intended to increase access to affordable natural gas in its target markets.

Nord Gas Solutions, a brand formed following Mutares SE & Co.’s acquisition of Wärtsilä Gas Solutions in June 2026, noted that the award was based on its global experience in regas modules for FSRU conversions.
