Nordcurrent Labs releases Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns

Nordcurrent Labs has announced the release of ‘Defender of the Crown: The Legend Returns’, a remastered version of the cinematic strategy game celebrating its 40th anniversary. The title is available on PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

The release features three distinct ways to play: a Retro Mode that preserves the original Amiga experience with quality-of-life improvements; a Classic Mode that reimagines the original with a new visual identity and refined mechanics; and a Kingdom Mode, which introduces procedural map generation, special dice mechanics, and unlockable abilities.
