Nordhavn to receive new 360-room lifestyle hotel project

AKF, PensionDanmark, and Bühlmann Hotels have announced the development of '2150 Nordhavn,' a four-star lifestyle hotel project located at the intersection of Sundkrogsgade and Helsinkigade in Copenhagen. The development will consist of two buildings totaling approximately 15,450 square meters, featuring at least 360 rooms and serviced apartments.

Designed by Henning Larsen Architects, the project features a prominent triangular site that draws architectural inspiration from New York’s Flatiron Building. One building will be a 12-story tower, while the second will be a lower structure with a reddish-brown character inspired by local brick architecture.

The concept aims to function as a 'hotel community house' that integrates with the local neighborhood rather than remaining an isolated enclave. Ground floor spaces are planned to include a café, restaurant, coworking areas, meeting rooms, an art atelier, and wellness facilities. To support local culture, Bühlmann Hotels intends to provide free atelier space for local artists. Construction is expected to begin within the next year, with completion targeted for late 2029 or 2030.
